Preventative Maintenance: Our load frame preventative maintenance procedures are extensive and all inclusive. Each electrical and electronic system is checked with precision testing equipment. All voltages and waveforms are adjusted to insure optimal performance. A complete mechanical parts check is performed to insure smooth mechanical operations. All circuit board and connector contacts are cleaned and treated to insure good conductivity. Any worn or potentially failing part is replaced to prevent future breakdowns. After service is performed, a report is provided outlining the maintenance procedures followed and listing any recommendations or potential future problems that should be attended to.

Calibration Verification: Instru-Met Corporation provides complete in-field verification service for all load cells and extensometers if applicable. Instru-Met service engineers use highly accurate and NIST traceable equipment when performing any field verifications. Our verification procedures adhere to and follow the latest specifications outlined by ASTM, ISO and MIL Spec 45662A. Verifications on load cells, extensometers and crosshead speeds should be performed at least once a year with times between verifications not to exceed 18 months. Instru-Met can perform transducer verifications at the time of the preventative maintenance service visit.

Unscheduled Emergency Service: Our service area currently covers the eastern third of the United States and maintaining your lab's 'readiness to serve' your customers is our priority. Our average emergency response time is less than 72 hours. This is world class performance. We're not stopping there, however. Our target is less than 48 hours and should there be special circumstances, weekend and evening service is available. We're also partnering with service organizations outside our coverage area to insure your needs are met.
